The Axle

The axle. I had been looking high and low for a Dana 44 out of a Wagoneer. I had a buddy who had a dana 44 out of a Ford, but after some research I decided to go with the Jeep axle because of the 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern matched my Nissan rear Axle. Additionally, the Jeep axle has a very similar width of the Nissan's H233B rear axle. I managed to find a guy who had a Dana 44 out of a 1988 Grand Wagoneer. So a short ferry ride later, I had the new axle for the project.
